Behringer Tube Ultra-Q T1951: Behringer Tube Ultra-Q T1951 Description: The Behringer T1951 Tube Ultra-Q is a stereo fully parametric EQ with 4 bands per channel. It can be used for Stereo Mastering, Single Track EQing, Sound tweaking, Sound manipulation as well as for sound re-inforcement. The EQs themselves are IC opamp based for a very transparent sound. The Tubes are used to add warmth to sound of the EQ. The EQ itself does not use the 12AX7 tubes! This is a good design and gives the Ultra-Q a distinct sound. you can add more or less Tube Warmth by turning the WARM knob. Behringer has designed the 4-bands in a parallel architecture to minimize phase shift and phase cancellation problems that develop with multiband filters. The top and bottom rows of smaller knobs are INPUT Level followed by the 4-bands of EQ. Each band has a Frequency Knob, a Bandwidth Knob, and a Level Knob (Boost or Cut). The two larger knobs on the right are the TUBE WARMTH knobs. Each EQ band has a IN/OUT switch. The First EQ has a switch that will turn that EQ-Band into a low-shelving filter while the fourth EQ has a switch that will turn it into a high-shelving filter. It's a very simple and straight forward design. It's completely analog. It also has XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs and outputs. Behringer Tube Ultra-Q T1951 Features: - Add warmth and presence to your sound
